With a tempting cinnamon smell, it's almost impossible to resist this dessert

All-time favorite: apples and cinnamon
When those sweet cravings strike and time is of the essence, satisfying your sweet tooth can be a challenge. That's where I come in with a quick dessert recipe. Waffles, with their universal appeal, is a dessert that's hard not to adore. They're a breeze to whip up, and their basic batter can be effortlessly customized – in this instance, with the delightful flavors of apples and cinnamon.
Here's what you'll need to create these delicious apple waffles:
150 grams of flour
30 grams of melted butter
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 large egg
130 ml of milk
Cinnamon (to taste)
2 medium apples
Lemon
Directions:
Combine all the dry ingredients in one bowl and mix thoroughly. In another bowl, blend the wet ingredients, and then fold in the dry mixture until well combined.
Peel and grate the apples, and lightly sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Add the grated apples to the mixture, ensuring all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Ladle the mixture onto your waffle machine and cook until it turns a lovely golden brown.
You can serve your waffles as you prefer, customized to your liking with powdered sugar, jam, a scoop of ice cream, or a drizzle of caramel sauce. I recently tried them with a dusting of powdered sugar and a drizzle of caramel sauce – trust me, it's a winning combination!
Additional Notes:
If you don't have a waffle machine, you can use this versatile batter to make pancakes; they'll be just as delicious!
Feel free to get creative and adapt the basic waffle mixture to your taste. If apple and cinnamon aren't your thing, experiment with other fruits, chocolate, or a variety of spices. The possibilities are endless.
I hope you enjoy experimenting with this delicious recipe!
